I am Curtis Simpson, and I created Jectives to be a truly independent source of typography journalism.

Jectives’ flagship program is Typography News™, which airs live on YouTube on Sundays. Replays are always available if you don’t catch the livestream, and if you sign up for the newsletter, you will even get an email to let you know when chapters have been added.

A few notes:

• Jectives does not accept sponsors from within the typography community (marketplaces, foundries, designers, etc.)
• I do use affiliate links on my occasional book reviews, but the reviews themselves are not paid for, and the affiliate income does not come from the authors or publishers, rather it comes from the marketplace (Bookshop.org, Amazon, etc.)
• I do quite often request and receive review licenses for new typeface releases. These will never be used for personal or commercial use. They are only used to fully test the font files and provide the most accurate review possible.
